Ninety-Nine: Beginnings

A little while ago, I embarked on a new writing journey with a co-author to write the story Ninety-Nine. It is a long process and I am excited to see where it goes. The idea for ninety-nine started on december 17th 1999 on my trip to go see my father who, at that point I had not seen in many years.

I was walking through the airport terminal wondering how interesting it would be if there was someone here that I don’t yet know, but someday we would impact each other lives greatly. Yes I was thinking that it might be a girl in a romantic sense, but I came to know God recently so what if it was a divine encounter between us, I really just want to be used by God.

I then got on the plane and started writing in my journal about the experience and thought how great it would be to have a book about two peoples journeys through life separately and then eventually together. I know it has probably been done before, but this could have more twists.

It could be written solely in a journal form about how two people, a guy and a girl through God could change each others lives for the better. It could be a story about destiny, or divine intervention.

It was just a start, but like like any good book, it just needed to sit and simmer and grow, and now its hopefully going to grow even more.
